Today Kobe “black mamba” Bryant signed a contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers. The contract is worth $48.5 million dollars over 2 years. This will keep Kobe with the Lakers through the 2015-2016 season.

It doesn’t look like the lakers will be amnestying Kobe anytime soon and if he’s able to finish his career as a Laker, it will be 20 years of Laker greatness. That 20 years will be NBA history as no player has been with one team for more than 19 years.
