James Harden suffered an ankle injury in which he called “very, very, very painful” and knocked down two free throws after it while only standing on one leg! Took a page out of Kobe’s book but much respect to James.
The veteran of the Freshman Big 3, Kentucky’s Julius Randle battled all the Michigan State Spartans that he could but in the end came up short in a 78-74 loss. Even though Kentucky and Randle lost the game it doesn’t mean the kid didn’t impress. He struggled in the first half with only 4 points but in the second half it was all Randle as he put up 23 points and led his team back from a 10 point deficit. He hit everything from outside jumpers to destroying the Spartans in the post. Once again 9 of Randle’s points came from free throws which shows how much of a force he is against other teams. All in all, the freshman finished with 27 points on 9-14 shooting and 13 rebounds.
