It’s great to see Chicago Bulls guard, Derrick Rose back on the basketball court even if it is just a pre game workout. The announcers mentioned he could make a return during the playoffs if the Bulls make the cut in the eastern conference. Keep it up Derrick!
Boston Celtics starting point guard, Rajon Rondo returned to action last night after tearing his right ACL in a game against the Atlanta Hawks on January 25, 2013. The captain was ready to go against their rival the Los Angeles Lakers friday night. Rondo played a total of 20 minutes which was expected, scoring 8 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists. Check out Rondo’s first basket down below as well as his postgame press conference!
Bad news for Los Angeles Clippers fans as their star point guard will be out 3-5 weeks with a separated shoulder. It’s bad enough it’s 3-5 weeks but there’s rumors the shoulder could require surgery which would put the star guard out even longer. You always hate to see a great player like Chris Paul go out but this year the injuries aren’t playing favorites as Russell Westbrook, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Deron Williams, Al Horford and Derrick Rose have all been out this year. Wishing all players a speedy recovery!
Unlike the great Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant was at practice Wednesday. Bryant had a complete practice with no hold backs and spoke to reporters afterwards about his progress. Take a look to get your Kobe fix.
In the first ever Derrick Rose Vs Kyrie Irving battle, Derrick was victorious. The Bulls beat the Cavs 96-81 with Rose putting up 16 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. Rose drove to the basket and made an incredible lay up but did come up limping after the play. Nonetheless both guys had an off night with Kyrie adding 16 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists. Not exactly what we were hoping for but there’s still many more battles to come!
