The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the most entertaining teams in the NBA, and last night was no different as they pulled off these two ridiculous plays against the Pelicans!
Nothing like a buzzer beater to end the first half, but if you can do it like LA Clipper, Darren Collison it’s even better!
This season a lot of players have been on edge during tangle ups with their opponents. We saw a couple weeks ago Blake Griffin and Serge Ibaka get tangled which led to an ejection for Ibaka and Matt Barnes. This week we have a tangle up with Warriors center, Andrew Bogut and Blazers center, Joel Freedand. Just like in the Clippers-Thunder fight, players from both teams came to back their teammates, which led to multiple ejections. Portland guards, Mo Williams and Wesley Matthews were ejected along with Warriors guard, Draymond Green.
Clippers Forward, Matt Barnes was fined $25,000 for using inappropriate language on Twitter and failing to leave court in timely manner after ejection. That timely manner happened because Barnes grabbed his two twin boys as he left the court. The looks on his kids faces as he picked them up was priceless, they were just happy to see their father and didn’t care about the ejection. Barnes went on twitter to apologize:
The Clippers and Thunder have been one of the best rivalries in the west the last couple of years. Both teams see themselves as a force to be reckoned with and will not back down from anyone. Tonight was no different when late in the second quarter Blake Griffin and Serge Ibaka got tangled up which led to a shoving match between the two teams. Matt Barnes jumped in on the fun as he came to back up Griffin. Ibaka and Barnes were both ejected and Griffin received a technical for his part in the altercation.
